Example — Getting a Companion
I want a horse! So, let us get one.
We start as a “blank” Companion, by spending 2 Hero Points. We ask our GM if we can get a Horse, it agrees without any problem, and it also tells us that a Horse can also transport up to 2 Medium-sized Creatures, nice! However he also says that since it is an Animal it does not know how to cast Spells. ;;
Finally, like we did for our Character, let’s choose a Rune for our Companion, we’ll go with a Rune of Haste.

But let’s make it more ours and choose to give it a nice Passive Ability. Using 2 Runes of Haste, we can make it much more fast! Let’s also give it a name, so it will be more devastating when our GM kills it.
