Dice grades go like this: 1 ➜ d4 ➜ d6 ➜ d8 ➜ d10 ➜ d12. The maximum dice grade is the d12.
Examples:
- An increase of 1 dice grade from d4 goes to d6.
- An increase of 1 dice grade from d6 goes to d8.
- An increase of 2 dice grade from d4 goes to d8.
- An increase of 2 dice grade from d6 goes to d12.
- An increase of 2 dice grade from d10 only goes to d12.
